Typing Test

Dispatch call notes, not prose. The difficulty is the keystroke mix: digits, plates, unit designators, street suffixes and constant shift-key work. Speed on plain sentences does not survive contact with an address.

Four practices, one page: continuous passage typing (below), license plate readback (type the plate back exactly, one at a time), radio broadcast readback (log a unit, call type, location and detail the way a CAD entry needs them), and short field entry (a name, a callback number or a plate, in upper case, with the number pad for the digits).
