A panel chair asks you five entry-level dispatcher questions out loud. You answer out loud, into your own microphone, and then you play yourself back. That is the whole exercise, and almost nobody has done it before the day it counts.
Five questions, in a fixed order
You will need a microphone and about ten minutes. Your browser will ask permission before anything records, and you can say no and still read every question.
Read this first, because it is the honest description
- It does not score you. There is no number at the end, no verdict, no pass or fail. Nothing on this page listens to your answer or judges it. It records you and plays you back.
- The questions are fixed. The same five, in the same order, every time. A real board draws from a far wider set and asks follow-ups based on what you just said.
- The interviewer does not react. She reads her question and stops. She will not press you, will not ask "can you give me a specific example", and will not notice if you never answered the question.
- Nothing you record leaves your browser. No upload, no account, no email, no storage. Your answers live in this tab and are gone when you close it, including if you just refresh.
- The interviewer's voice is synthesized, rendered once into fixed audio files. It is not a recording of a specific person and it is not generated while you use the page.

This is the part that does the work. Play each answer back and ask three things: did you actually answer the question that was asked, was it a real incident with a beginning and an end, and did you land the ending or trail off looking for one.

What this did not do
- It did not grade you. Not loosely, not roughly, not with a number kept out of sight. No part of this page examined your answer, and any impression you have of how you did is your own, which is exactly what you get in a real room too.
- It did not follow up. The two questions after your weakest answer would have been the ones that decided a real board, and this interviewer never asks them.
- It did not vary. Come back tomorrow and it is the same five questions in the same order, so it rehearses these five and nothing else.
